Sometimes. That's when I know I'm doing too much and need to focus more on myself. It's not really a good deed if you feel like a martyr about it.

Guilty or not guilty--

To answer my own question - not guilty, but I haven't been tracking fitness minutes b/c of an injury (in summary, the ice won this round...)

Next question:
Guilty or not guilty - do you try to do nice things for others, then get annoyed when they don't seem to appreciate it?

Guilty - about 7 months now on the team

Do you track your fitness minutes before you exercise, then "forget" to change it when you end up too busy to actually do the fitness minutes you recorded?

If I go way over and I know it, I just quit tracking for the day. If I do go over, it is usually something that takes too much time to figure it all out anyway!

Can I be half-guilty? Maybe not all week, but I do tend to save up calories for a whole day if I know I'm going to be overindulging in the evening. Lots of raw veggies with lots of water content, like cucumbers and celery (which, fortunately, I happen to love).
Actually, I once saw an interview with Julia Child where she said that she planned her days that way, eating just a little during the day if she knew she would be having a big occasion dinner. I love her!

I totally used to do that too, Dawn. And I honestly would still do it if I could...but now that I can't exercise like I used to...I have to overindulge a lot less. I like the theory of eating what I want to eat from time to time and then just working out harder to fix it. I love to eat or I wouldn't be here, right? lol! ;)

Dawn064-
Guilty. I have a close family member who is a notorious diet saboteur (my MIL). So I never tell her when I'm watching what I eat. When she notices I've dropped some weight I say I'm exercising more. For some reason that shuts her up and she can't sabotage. Go figure. I also try to keep my 'issues' to myself around my daughter, who is 9. I tell her I'm trying to eat healthier and leave it at that.

Guilty or Not Guilty?
Do you ever shave off portion sizes on the tracker to stay within range for a specific nutrient? For instance, a nice comfortable cushion on the calorie end, but carbs are 1 or 2 grams over and editing will keep your report nice and tidy?

It is never too late to be what you might have been. -George Elliott

GUILTY!?!? That's a WAY OF LIFE for me. Also Guitly of eating something sweet and then doing a 'balance' exercise.

Have you ever snuck a food item because you did not want your husband/boyfriend/family member/etc (who knows you are eating healthy) to see you and say, "I thought you were on a diet? You're not suppose to eat that!" ?

Once in a great while I'm guilty of that one. How bout this, do you ever eat something that you know is going to put you over the top, and then do a workout to 'balance it out' so you log neither the food nor the exercise?

KINDA Guilty: every inflate your fitness minutes because you "should" have done them?

However I use my HRM and I wait until I cool down to 100 before hitting exit! So my 'exercise' is 10 minutes higher because my heart rate is still up therefore, my calorie burn is also higher!

Guilty or Not Guilty: Have you ever guesstimated some portions like salad dressing instead of weighing or measuring it and therefore given yourself a lot less calories in a day then what it should be??

Mich- you can log heavy cleaning as cardio. The Organized Life team has a goal of doing this once a week. I always log an hour but with 3 teens and 2 large breed dogs, it's more like three hours of heavy vacuuming, mopping and high dusting that requires a ladder to get fur off the ceiling fan blades.

I serve healthy stuff disguised as junk food all the time. Please don't tell my kids what hummus is, they stop wanting it for the after school feeding frenzy!

Do you ever have days that you don't log anything because you're sick of your looking at computer?

No never logged exercise that I didn't do....however sometimes I think I should get points for doing a huge housecleaning bonanza...you know when you scrub the bathroom, do laundry, run up and down the stairs with the vacuum cleaner!

Guilty on all except the referral. I referred two people. One listed me and one did not...both of them are sporadic in logging in let alone exercising.

When power walking or jogging, have you ever picked up the pace just so that you can fly past the person in front of you and dust them?

Guilty - in a funny way. I refuse to admit to my Mom how much I have actually lost. I keep telling her that it is just "inches from working out".

Have you ever gotten mad at someone because you referred them to SP, they signed up but didn't list you as the referral and you didn't get the points?

Guilty - Only once, and then I felt really guilty and deleted it but the points stayed there!

Guilty or Not? - Have you ever told a little fib about your current weight?

Guilty! Only once in a great while though!

Have you ever "forgotten" on purpose to log something on your nutrition tracker because you didn't want to see it?
