I have a serving size of jam every morning. I don't eat refined sugar and find the jam is the only thing sweet I want to eat anymore.

I've had my tablespoon of jam almost every day, sugar free, all fruit jam, so I can get the benefits of having daily pectin in the concentrated amount found in jams and jellies.

I've seen an improvement in my complexion since having 1 T. of jam or jelly every day. The pectin in it is healthy for me.

emoticon Jam has a condensed amount of pectin which is a healing food. I use sugar-fee and all fruit. One tablespoon full mid-morning is my essential.

I've been having jam almost every day since April 2018. I can really tell how stronger and smoother my fingernails are. I don't use polish on my nails, but use an orange stick and safflower oil to do my manicure. Then I buff them with a soft piece of terry cloth that is only for that purpose.

Yes, but an apple has less pectin in it than jam does.

Pectin in an apple eaten without the peel is 0.14 - 1.15 but the variety, growing conditions, and how ripe it is affect the pectin content.

Jams are made from crushed or ground fruit and usually have a thick consistency due to high pectin content.
