Ran 3 miles yesterday on a treadmill at 8:45s.. Feeling a little tendonitis in the right knee. Did arms...light weight/high reps...trying to keep the elbows health. Fatiqued today~

50 minutes on the ellipical later today.

Fun! I didn't want to go do it. Had to get my haircut after work and almost used that as an excuse to not do it. But I dragged myself to the gym, wet hair and all. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and now I feel relaxed and a sense of accomplishment. Besides, I enjoyed it once I got going.

I worked my tail off Sat.
I alternated between 3 mins of walking and 3 mins of jogging for 35 minutes. Then I idid strength training, core training and followed it up with streching. When I went home I worked in the garden the rest of the day.

I'd been out of it since my knee has been feeling tight and swollen for the past week, and I've been moody the last couple days, but the guys at worked helped to put me in a great mood so I went for a small run/walk with my dog. I did a couple strength excercises in the cool air and stretched before coming in. I feel soooo much better! emoticon

If your dog is fat, you aren't getting enough excercise!

I did 45 minutes on my treadmill--I would run for 4 minutes walk for 5 minutes & so on emoticon

Right after that I got on my Eliptical for 31 minutes emoticon

Now I am just sore..LOL!! emoticon

It was good actually. Yesterday's was bad. The chlorine was burning my eyes. I couldn't get my rhythm right. Uggh!

But today was pretty great! I found out that I need to warm up before starting my laps. I did that and I fell into my rhythm like I was a fish in water. And, I didn't let the fooiinnee lifeguard distract me. I usually get self conscious becuz i'm not too hot looking in a swimsuit, and I'm really just a beginner in this whole swimming laps thing. When I see this particular lifeguard, I get so nervous and flustered I can hardly swim at all. But I didn't let him get to me today. Go Me! emoticon

My workout was great today. I did one of the strength training workout's in Oxygen magazine, an ab routine by Coach Nicole, and the Crunch Cardio Sculpt video.

I love reading about other people's pleasant experiences...but can I tell ya something? For the past couple of days I have absolutely *hated* exercising, but forced myself to do it, anyway. I want to keep making progress...and if not for SP's ^@#&! recommended cardio and strength training goals, i would probably find a way/reason to say to hell with it. (((wait a minute...I think that was TOM speaking))).
