I am trying to get started with mine as well. There should be a few people called to be Genealogy representatives for your ward that you can call on and they will come help you. I have planned on calling mine this week. Also, I think any time you put in to doing genealogy will be well spent since it is part of the work we are supposed to be doing while we are here. I would also like input on genealogy matters!

I will do what I need to do, in order to do what I want to do.

I am a convert to the Church, and as such, I have not yet really started doing much on my Genaeology. My Mother and Sister put together a book with photos and names of some of my relatives going back 4 generations, but they did not know any dates of anything. At least it is a start!I am not really sure how to proceed, however, and I am afraid of all of the time it will consume.

I am looking forward to learning a lot on this thread.
