I'm doing flexibility and strengthening of my quad muscles. Need them to be good and they are struggling right now.

It takes as long as 2-3 months for some habits to develop. Keep strong.

I'm not sure I can do HCG. I think it would make me crazy. I'm glad it works for you.

I am doing a round of HCG (controversial I know), but I did a round 2 years ago at the suggestion of a Nurse Practitioner in my ward when she saw I was struggling so bad to lose. My hypothyroidism doesn't help at all. I lost 27 pounds in 60 days. I have not lost anything now in the last 2 years despite going gluten free (positive celiac markers thanks to thyroid) and exercising regularly, including hiking up in the mountains with my pack.

Exercise is discouraged during the weight loss phase since you only consume about 500 calories per day. I am still doing some light weight lifting though so as not to lose muscle. My goal will be to do my strength training 3 times per week.

So we learn a little at a time. Here a little there a little as the scripture goes.

For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have. (2 Nephi 28:30)

So I want to do one small fitness thing. I will count on prayer and the Holy Ghost for that so my first week I will do crunches on the ball. What about you?
