It HAS been fun. I needed to sort and get rid of things as well. I'm counting the fabric I donated today for sewing camp as part of the sorting.

It's been fun to be with the group as well. I love this sisters group. I joined when I first joined Spark and although most of the sisters no longer are here, it is still close to my heart.

I have to say, that even though I didn't get rid of stuff every day, I have really enjoyed this challenge. And drinking enough water has been fantastic! Thanks for spearheading the challenges for us!

Yesterday, went through a room in the basement. Cleaning it out to give grandsons a bedroom. It has treasures from all my children as well as things I've been keeping for a long time. I ended up tossing all my old textbooks and notes. They are all long outdated.

I've got a pile of piano music and other things for the kids to pick up and then I'll have tossed enough to make up for the week I didn't toss anything. I also have "recycled" some other things and people are using them as well.

Drinking is going well.

Looking forward to a new challenge in August.

Drinking going well.

Doing sewing projects with my "stash" so that counts, doesn't it?

Had zucchini and tomatoes for lunch. Love that combination. Blueberries for dessert.

Have a great day Sisters.

Keep on throwing stuff out. Today is 25. Totally your choice to do it differently. How is the water drinking going.

Well, sorry I have been MIA. I am getting rid of the pile of papers tht managed to accumulate on my desk with school. I am done. Yeah, so happy. My water is good. My dejunking is alright but, I missed a day, maybe. I am sure I will make up for it.

Hi Sisters.

It is good to be able to reach your goal. Son returns that soon? How fun for you. My first two overlapped a year and it was hard to have them both gone, but the third son enjoyed being chief "alpha" child for a while.

Yesterday I had a delicious salted caramel pecan chocolate chip cookie. It was huge and I bought half a dozen to get my cookie (or two maybe) so I gave the others to my son who stopped by.

Water isn't a problem. I'm glad I'm in a challenge. It helps me think about what I'm doing. I'm down a bit this week which is a good thing for me.

Have a great day.

My weight was down a little yesterday--just 4 pounds to lose by August 3rd for a goal that I set. It's not my ultimate goal, but if I can reach that, I will be down about 25 pounds (I didn't start tracking until after I had lost a couple) on my older missionary's 1 year mark.

Haha--unfortunately I had a carb crave yesterday. I don't think I blew it too awfully, but still. I have naturally very low blood pressure--the highest my systolic usually goes is about 110 (often it's in the 90s) and my diastolic is usually in the 50s. So I think this contributes to the salt cravings that I get--which means chips or crackers. I have been trying to stick with rice cakes, but that didn't kick it yesterday.

I'm doing great on my water--I'm actually really liking it. And I'm loving these July challenges!

Drinking going well. Lots of water in my life.

Lots of fruits and veggies every meal. Love this time of year.

Dejunking is a fits and starts sort of thing. I've got plenty to do, for sure.

Am enjoying a beautiful day and lots of quiet. I love quiet days.

Had fun yesterday but it was a bust as far as getting things done. Some days I just give up trying. Now I've got laundry in, dishes washed, floors cleaned. Dejunking will happen later today. I did get rid of some fabric yesterday which was fun.

I got my old machine out as there were a lot of little girls. I'll have to do it again in a couple of weeks and get "rid" of some other fabric. I have some flannel that will work out well for that. I'll be getting rid of more fabric and the grands will have some cute fabric to enjoy.

Eating is going well and drinking going very well. The advantage of being busy is that I don't get to snack as much. And I'm certainly not bored so I don't eat for that reason. I'm genuinely hungry when I eat.

Have a great day.

I pulled out some old Christmas material to make stockings to send to missionaries in the Philippines. I'm counting that as part of my dejunking--getting a little creative! But I love getting rid of some of the stuff that has just been sitting around forever.

I get to babysit my 10-month-old grandbaby tonight--she'll be sleeping overnight. Looking forward to that, but my treadmill is in the spare bedroom where her porta-crib is, so I'll have to find a creative way to get my workout in tomorrow.

My biggest problem is that I don't usually dejunk daily. I have plans to do it again tomorrow. Had Grandma's Sewing Camp. Also had 4/6 kids here and their children. It was fun but got nothing done. Some days are like that

Have a great day. Good luck on finals.

I have two finals this week. I am going to the temple. Then I will take them Wednesday and Thursday or Friday. Then the next classes open on Saturday. I guess summer will be busy.

I am doing awesome with my water. I am doing OK with the dejunking. I hope all of you are doing well with it.

Got water yesterday. Did some "fabric purging" by putting together some projects for gifts. It is going, but I have to play with it first.

My mom found toys she intended to give my children when she was cleaning out (not nearly enough for sure) and she wrapped and labeled them intending to give them to her great grandchildren, the children of the intended gift. It was fun that first Christmas after she passed to give the gifts to the grands.

I have some gifts as well. My DD is excited to find them. She likes to find treasures in my house.

Orientation again today and then again tomorrow, then testing on Thursday. Someone toured the house yesterday, but my DH said it was an older couple....why an older couple wants to tour a 7 BR home is clueless to me. Pretty sure they would not be interested in purchasing my home. I think sometimes, these older people are just bored out of their minds, so they go tour homes for sale just to kill time.

I may have possibly found a rental home here in Texas. I've had no success for weeks. We need a place pretty quick, because school starts in about 5 weeks and I need to get the kids here and therefore need a place for us to live.

Hate orientation. It's long and geared for everyone no matter what your skill level is. I've taught parts of it at times and it isn't all that fun for those who are experienced. For those who aren't, it's helpful.

Glad you are getting to spend time with your mom. How is the house selling going?

Got a lot of stuff sorted yesterday and a load to DI and a load to the trash. It worked well. It looks like about three more sessions and my storage room is cleared out and can become a bedroom. Hopefully sooner than later.

I'm making the tossing goal but in chunks rather than daily. Water is no problem as it's hot here.

Have a great day.

Spent most of the day in orientation for my new job sitting on my tush. Tried to walk as much as possible. Day 2 of orientation tomorrow, so another 8 hours of sitting. I had to leave by 6 am this morn to get there on time, so no exercise. Maybe can get a light walk in later tonight, but was starved by the time I fought traffic and got home, so no walk right after liked I hoped.

Water going well. Decluttering tends to be a project so it takes part or much of a day to "clean out" something. I've also got some fabric that is going into "projects" so it will leave my stash and become someone else's stuff.

Have a nice day.

Even though I already work as a professional florist, almost three years ago I signed up for a long distance advanced floral design class via emails and dvds to learn new techniques. Upon completion, I receive a certificate stating that I completed the course. I completed 4 of the 5 sections of the course over a year ago, and have had the final section hanging over my head, nagging at me almost constantly.

I decided that I am including this in the July decluttering challenge, and I started the last section yesterday. Yes I realize that it isn't quite what we are aiming for, but I am already feeling less stress at getting it out of the way.

If the bishop hadn't asked us Wednesday to speak this coming Sunday, I would have finished it up tomorrow--instead I have been studying in all of my spare time for preparing my talk.

So Monday I plan on finishing the final section, and decluttering my life! Thank you for this challenge! I am loving it, and feeling so motivated!

Had a fun day. Getting my water in without a problem. It usually isn't but since it is over 100 here all week, it is not a problem. I've been adding an extra cup or two.

Doing some more purging. Load to go to the DI. Lots of clothes that don't "speak" to me but others may enjoy. I also have some duplicates of household appliances that I'm giving to children or donating. It is easier to do it now that some has been stored for a while not being used.

I enjoyed visiting with one of my sons about genealogy/family history. I did a ton a few years ago and haven't had time until lately to do much again. Now I do it online in bits and pieces. Ten or twenty minutes when I get time.

Have a wonderful day.

Went to the temple this morn with my mom. Haven't been able to do that for years since she lives in Texas and I was living in Southern Utah. Also, she is not very mobile, so stays home. We hope to go again on Friday and finish some of the family names we have.

WG purging boxes and bins totally counts. I count anything out of my house. Recycle, trash and donations ect.

Everyone is doing awesome. I love that it can be a bit project or just tossing some stuff out.

My pile of stuff is growing that I am getting rid of. Cleaning up small piles in my bedroom, and I love how I can feel less stress because of it.

I'm also proud that I only had one plate of pancakes at the all-you-can-eat 4th of July pancake breakfast that we went to yesterday. It was so tempting to get more, but I stayed strong!

And I'm drinking my water--thanks to my dad for giving me a nice cup that shows how many ounces are in it, I know exactly how much I am drinking.

Didn't have a chance to toss anything except normal stuff over the weekend, but did some purging and cleaned out several boxes and bins. Sent a load of towels, booster seats, and some other things to a local woman's shelter and homeless shelter.

I also cleaned out some files someone saved for me from an old file cabinet. They all went away except for a couple of things. It was nice to have them gone.

Drinking water without a problem.

Have a great day.

Did not throw anything away as I did that before making my move to Texas for work. Hubby and most of family remain in southern Utah hoping house will sell. Did get my water in and exercised 45 minutes on my brother's treadmill and did some strength training. Feeling down about being separated from my hubby, kids, and new grandbaby until house sells and they can join me.

So today it is throw away 3 items and drink 8 glasses of water. Remember we are making big things happen just a little work at a time. I did not put in an exercise component. But, feel free to report on that too if ya want!

Our team goal for July is to throw out the number of things equal to the date. On the first throw out one thing on the second two on the third three ect.

Our second goal is to drink 8 glasses of water.

Then report how you did.
