Fridays I have an early morning Body Pump Class. This means I get up at 4:30am to get to the gym by 5a to get set up for the 5:30a class.
I went to bed early last night, but despite taking an OTC sleeping pill, I tossed and turned, fussed and fretted, kept checking the clock, wondering if I should get up to go to the bathroom, and got more and more angry.
Finally, at 1a, I decided there was no way I was going to be able to function at work with only three and a half hours of sleep, so I reset my alarm.
Am I bummed I didn't make it to the gym? Of course. But this is my first missed day in months and it's not going to undo all my hard work. Tomorrow I have both Pound and Body Pump so I will definitely make it up. I'll get in a walk today, weather permitting, and keep on moving! Focus on the wins and don't blow the losses out of proportion.
