    How fantastic!!!! It isn't always about running for better time, but enjoy being with the people around us, and what a grate way to bond with your children and make happy memories going to races with them!

    I love it!!!!

    I am going for a 2.8k race with my family 13th of June, The blood bank race, 5K race in 23 of June the Midnight run and 20th of August The Reykjavik Marathon, I am going 10K. These are all runs that I have been to the last two summers, and I want them to be the races I ALWAYS GO iN!::.....

    But there is also the cancer run I want to go to, and and and and hehehe...
    here is the race schedule for this year and like you see there is a lot's of races in May(Mai), June(Júní), July(Júlí) and August(Ágúst).

    sorry, can delete.
    I'm super busy. Really. Learning for the Hungarian school with the kids,
    organising the move, and a little bit of training as well.
    Knee got better, bike got ruined.
    It's a basic bike, got it used, need to upgrade it a lot.
    I was told it's not built to last for a year (!) with serious training put in...
    Hey, it's a 2008 Specialized Allez Sport with Shimano 105/Tiagra gears!!!
    Costs 800lbs new, cost me 300lbs used.
    How can it be that weak a bike?
    Serious training? I'm the slowest wherever I go. Well, I'm doing races, still.
    My old bike that I bought from my first salary at 15 y
    was more reliable than these expensive multi geared feather light machines. Never needed any service/ adjustment. It rolled well, too.
    Cyclists have bikes that cost much more than their car. ~2-3000 lbs. Really.
    It doesn't need that many material, engine etc. So how can it be?
    Right now I'm into finding a good wheel builder as I need new wheels without paying 400lbs - ridiculous. Already have new tyres, the original were rubbish, couldn't corner with those.
    Done my first ever 100 miles- 160km, and very hilly as well. Felt OK,
    but need to gain even more speed, this still won't do the cut off time.
    Half ironman this week and I lack a useable bike.
    I can't even push mine at the mo, need to carry it...

    I won't log for a while but still eat relative well.
    Need a lot of high GI sugary gels/drinks during training,
    but apart from those I'm trying.
    Still no gain :)
    In fact I'm getting quite muscular in the legs.
    Belly started shrinking a bit, too. I thought it won't happen because it was so out of shape, now I have some hope. It looks awful with the pregnancy marks and loose, bumpy skin, still a huge improvement there.

    Hubby entered a marathon and even mentioned the word "ironman".
    That's a crazy thing to do...
    I do enjoy it a lot...
