Board Posts real name is TIna...I am a 49 year old mother of 2 young people!
I have spent many years fighting depression and mood swings...fighting to be the best mom I could be ...while secretly self destructing with food and lack of exercise.I finally get it....I finally get that only I can change the things I dont like...I am the only one who can make or break this thing called my life....its been a great life but I always seemed to be wanting for more...more love ..more understanding...more money...more stuff...and ultimately I found more food!

I have to want to be a better me....and I DO!
I am truly believing now that I can and will finally do it this time....I have never felt this much support in all of my life...Spark people is awesome...I have made new(internet) friends and some new friends in general....every time I feel a little bit weak...I come on here and talk to helps more than you will ever know....thanks to al of you new spark is gradually changing my life ...much for the better!
love you all!

I found this info about drinking enough water and want to post it here for anyone to see There are so many aches and pains that most people attribute to being old, sick or tired, when in all actuality, it’s probably just a case of dehydration. Even a lack of concentration and focus can be attributed to a lack of water. It only makes sense, considering our brains are made up of 90% water. Those nagging headaches we often get, that most people shrug off as part of life or the common cold can also just be a case of dehydration. What about those painful joints that we complain about? Water works as a lubricant – the two opposing surfaces (for example, the femur and the tibia at the knee) will glide freely and minimize friction damage, causing less pain. Other benefits to drinking water include:

Helps digest food
Lowers Blood pressure
Reduces Constipation
Lessens Asthma
Eases Depression
Metabolizes fat
Supports healthy hair and nails
Carries more blood and oxygen to your face
Eases irritability
Regulates body temperature so you don't get too cold or too hot
Suppresses appetite
Prevents water retention
Reduces stress

Without forgiveness life is governed endless cycle of resentment and retaliation.

Hi! Just a shout out to congratulate you!

You are the recipient of the Beautiful Woman Award!!

"Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the page of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out!"

    Hello Tina,
Thanks for stopping by my page.
Long time since I've been on spark people and have talked to anyone. So much has gone on in my life in the last few years. Haven't had any time for myself, In 2010, I became the caregiver of my in-laws, two very wonderful people. Sadly they have come to pass away at 93 and 92; 2013 One with Parkinson's the other with dementia. Things are slowly getting back to normal. I'm starting dieting all over again. Do to the medication I'm taking from my heart to stay alive; the main side effect weight gain. But other than that everything is going fine. Knock on wood.
Hope everything is going well with you and your family.
    Drop me a line sometime.
