Beck restart. Again. No excuses! New short term goals

Jan 2016
Reading through Beck Diet Pink book to handle sabotaging thoughts that creep in to keep me off track.

May 2015 was a hard month for me. I went to a wedding and alos a long weekend trip and went up to 160lbs. discouraged but getting back at it again.

April 2015
I am having a hard time breaking this plateau. 154-156 lbs. I am trying intermittent fasting with the 8 hr diet plan, eating for 8 hrs, fasting for 16. I will try this for April and assess at the end of the month.

February 2015
Well, I didn't stay focused in January and gained a few pounds from Christmas, New Years and vacation. Time to get re-focused.

January 2015
I have made some huge changes in the last year and have lost 31 lbs. I have 15 more to lose in 2015. my aim is to get back on track with SP and tracking my progress.

January 2014
I'm 57 yrs old, a wife, mother of 2 and grandmother of 4. I need to lose 50 lbs. and keep it off permanently. I have yo-yo dieted for about 10 yrs and the weight keeps creeping on.
I exercise about 5 times a week, run, play hockey and do weights. My downfall is carbs.

New goal is small ones following Beck Pink book. Lose the next 5 lbs.
Target date May 1.

1. lose 50 lbs by June 1st 2014
June 1st came and went. Down 30lbs. New goal date August 31, 2014
2. follow my eating plan
3. follow my training program
4. drink 8-10 cups of water per day
5. enter a 10k or 1/2 marathon in the spring or summer **May 31, 2014 ran 1/2 marathon. Very slow 2:58 but I did it!

My Program:
I finally went to a trainer to get a program geared to me.

I have worked out and run for 33 years. But what I was doing on my own was no longer working.

My program is
1. weight routine 30 mins 3x/week
2. cardio 60mins 3x/week

Personal Information:
I live in a small town in southern Ontario.

I am a woman of faith.

I live an active lifestyle.
I play hockey, water ski, snow ski, and run.
I have many and crazy interests.
I ride a Yamaha Raider 1900, and have ridden for 39 yrs.
I am a General Aviation pilot.
I have my NLS (life guard qualifications) and plan to recertify in June for the last time.
I have run 5 marathons over 5 yrs, the last being in 2008.
I have also run 5 triathlons in the 90's

Other Information:
Being active isn't enough for me. I need to control the intake of carbs.

    I was browsing old threads on the No S Diet team and saw a post from you back in June 2015, I think. Don't know where you are with all this. If you feel on track, mazel tov! If not, consider giving it another go. Some of the most successful people on the original site are those it didn't stick for first-or many- tries. We love our prodigal daughters!
