I am53years old and a caregiver for elderly and enjoy people. I like to read spiritual books and I also am a Grandmother to a7 year boy. I am looking so forward to losing weight and meeting others that are trying to do the same this year. I like to walk and ride my bike. I begin my journey back on, been fighting a battle of illness and had to drop out. I was diagnosed with mild Cognative imparement 3 years ago now so I am no longer working but volunteer for a senior center calling bingo.

My Goals:
My Biggest goal for 2014 is to lose 50 lbs by 2015 on my birthday.

I want to get off high blood pressure medication and lose sizes in my clothes, Working to get to a size 12 or 10.


My Program:
I am tracking what I eat each day counting calories.
I try to fit in some kind of exercise like walking, cleaning, bike riding and playing the wii game at times. I am watching my sweets and I am also using Chia seed 2 tbsp daily in my water bottle that I carry to work with.



Personal Information:
My name is Tammy and I live close to the outer banks of north carolina. It is a little country place called Fairfield Noth Carolina. There is alot of farmers here.


Other Information:
I am a caregiving , Home health nurse who goes to clients home and clean, cook, take vitals signs and ect.... Love my work. I enjoy reading spiritual up lifting books, I am reading a book called Winners by Danielle Steel. She writes great novel that you just cannot put it down once you begin to read her stories.

    Thanks for stopping by my page. Losing those two pounds can be very difficult but what I found to work is drinking a lot of water and tracking everything I ate on the nutrition tracker. Keep track of my calories helped me stay within my calorie range which would help me to lose the weight. Also, eat lots of vegetables. Not so much fruits as it is vegetables. You need more vegetables than fruits. This will all come with time. Take baby steps in your change to your new life style. Don't try to do everything at once. Also, read the articles that SparkPeople has out there. I did a lot of reading too. It takes time to lose the weight. It doesn't come off overnight. Be patient. You can do this and I'm here for you to help you through your journey.

    I live in Northeast Ohio. I vacationed one year in North Carolina at Holden Beach. It took us 12 hours to get there. Are you anywhere near there? My husband's brother lives in North Carolina, but I can't remember the city right now. It is not by the beach.
