January 2013: My weight loss has all but stalled. I'm up about 10 pounds from my lowest. got a little too comfortable. It's time for me to stop messing around and GET TO BUSINESS. I am determined to finally hit my goal weight by the end of this year!

May 2012: My weight loss has slowed down a lot but I'm still plugging along. I know I'll hit my goal weight eventually. I'm less than 20 pounds away. This will be the hardest 20 pounds for me to shake (my body is very happy with the weight it's in now). But I'm determined. This is my lifestyle now and I will never give up. I love working out and my body feels amazing when I'm eating correctly. I can never go back to how I used to be.

August 2011 - I'm officially 100 pounds lost!! WHOO HOO!! It took me less than a year to lose a 100 pounds! I can't believe it still!! Sometimes I feel like pinching myself to see if it's real!!

May 2011: I am now 70 pounds lost!!!! I cannot believe I'm right on track to losing a hundred pounds in under a year! Sometimes I think to myself, I cannot believe I've done this. But then I realized that isn't fair to me. I DID know I could get here, otherwise I would have never attempted to lose weight.

I truly believed from the beginnig that I could get here. And that has made all the difference in this journey. Believing in myself and trusting in myself.

You have to LOVE yourself first before you will ever see any results. What's the point in getting to this place, if you don't like yourself?

UPDATE: I decided that since I'm over 60 pounds I should update this section a little. I've come a long way since I first wrote the below introduction!

Working out and eating better has changed me so much!! Not just that I've lost weight. I have more energy, and rarely suffer from the joint pain that used to really debilitate me. I am so much happier than I was and that's been the greatest gift out of all of this.

I'm almost halfway to my goal of 100 pounds lost and I hope to reach that by the end of July. So it will be a one year exactly since starting to change my life. Wish me luck!

FIRST INTRO: Something seems to have finally clicked with me. I'm tired of being overweight and I'm tired of feeling so sluggish all the time. I joined Spark People because even though I want to loose weight, I really have no idea how to start. I'm hoping this will give me the push I need to get to a better me!
