Hi! My name is Candace and I've been married now going on 5 years and have 1 darling son. My husband and I would like to start being more active for our son's sake, but since I've gained so much weight since he was born, I have found that the pain in my joints is limiting my 'active' life and family fun. Also, my DH and I want to start TTC in Sept. of this year. Now I've got to figure out how to 'fix' our lifestyle and make all of us healthier, especially for me, to lose some excess weight.

Fitness Minutes: 367

My Goals:
Starting weight: 248lbs

First Goal: 228lbs

Second Goal: 198lbs

Third Goal:173

Goal Weight: 143

My Program:
First week - I made myself aware of the types of food and the quantity of food I was consuming regularly.

2nd week thru Goal - adjusting portion sizes, cutting food with poor nutritional value, trying new recipes and new foods that will make for healthier eating habits for myself and my family.

Exercise - At a minimum walking 3x a week + stretching. I would like to build up a to a regular muscular strength and tone program.

Personal Information:
I'm from central Georgia. I am smart and funny and even cute, but I've always been overweight and I'm tired of it. All of my friends are healthy to skinny sizes. All of my friends are also at those points in life where they are getting married having babies, and all the showers and fun that goes with it. I don't want to be a cow in a dress at these events. I want to add to the fun of the events. I want to look as good as I feel. I want to be as sexy as my husband desires. I want to make my son proud of his mommy. All of these can be achieved by focusing a little more on my body, a temple, and I think I deserve it.

Other Information:
I read all the time. One of my favorite books about loving yourself no matter your size is titled "The Big Beautiful" I recommend it to those needing a boost in self-esteem and laughter!
