I'm finally ready to overcome years of battling this weight issue. It's been over 20 years that I have been unhappy about my weight and I can no longer blame it on pregnancies (my youngest daughter is in her twenties). I am ready to start a new and live a happy,healthy life.

It is time that I refocus and begin to live the best life I possibly can. No excuses. Take this one day, one moment at a time. Do the things that I enjoy to get my life and health back.

Well it is 2021 and for a few years I've only been trolling Sparkpeople/my Sparkpage lol
In all seriousness I am truly going to make this the year of change.
We are already half way through but I promise myself that I will comit to losing at least half of the weight that I intend to lose. 60-65 pounds in total. I will be working with a nutritionist and incorporating more walks and strenght training into my life. A lifestyle that reflects a happy healthy me. I have the tools and I am ready to put in the work and use them....

My Goals:
My 2014-15 goals are to:
Eat Breakfast every day
Drink more water
Eat more fruits and vegetables-at least 5 servings a day
Get more active, stretch more and do the things I love.


My Program:
Started walking little by little
Have been eating breakfast daily (a meal that I usually skip)
Hope to start a serious work out program that includes, walking, hiking, bike riding, skating, and sports.

Other Information:
I love to read, sit at the beach on a nice hot day. I like to cook although since I follow a gluten free diet I've had to make adjustments in the way I cook. I am a mother of three adult children and also a Grandmother or Cena as I'm called..

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge.
