It is past time for me to update my page. First confession-- I am not the best "social media" person around. I created a facebook page years ago & it does not have a photo & I never post. lol. Oh well. But I am fairly active on SP & it is on my short list of internet activities that I do regularly. I love my friends on SP!

I turned 60 last year & had not met my goals, even gained back some I had lost. The past 5 months I have lost nearly 10 lbs & am getting closer to my goal, maybe another 5 lbs. BUT, I keep finding this pesky 2-3 lbs & then loose it, gain it back, etc, etc. SO, my goal currently is to stabilize then reassess how much more I want to lose. I know you know what I mean about maintaining.... half the battle.

I am resuming exercise gradually after nearly a year of not doing any or very little. Tracking exercise & nutrition helps keep me aware of slacking off.
For now, this will do. ; )

My Goals:
1. PRIORITIZE! - walk closer with my Lord, then everything else will fall into place
2. Stop mindless eating and exercise at least a little every day, even if I can't do a full workout.
3. Practice sensible choices in food quantity and quality. (you can eat a lot of green beans for a few calories)
4. Rebuild muscle tone that I have lost in the past few years. (it really is possible)

My Program:

2. Track my nutrition
3. Track my exercise

Personal Information:
I live in the mid south, but have lived in Ohio, Texas, Georgia and now Tennessee where I have lived most of my life.

Other Information:
I love to paint, decorate, garden, go for quiet walks, have a leisurely cup of coffee, read a good book, etc

    Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the nice comment on my artwork and for adding me as a friend. You and I have nearly the same weight goal- I want to make it to 126 if I can- I started at 144, I'm on my way. emoticon

    I was reading your reasons for overeating. I read a lot of peoples reasons and I find I really have only one. I love food. I only eat because I love food. It really doesn't matter what kind of mood I'm in, doesn't matter whether or not I'm hungry, I eat because I love the taste of food and I enjoy eating alone or with some one.
