    Hi, Sadaf,

    How are you doing theses days? I see that you are in a plateau like I was (except I started gaining). I have found something to do that seems to be helping me.

    Last Monday 5/10/21 one of the ladies (Annie) on the Intermittent Fasting team ask if anyone wanted to do an Alternate Day Fasting (AFD) with her. So a few of the ladies and I said yes. I know you are a member of that team so I thought you might want to check it out. I set up a thread called "Alternate Day Fasting, with Annie? Who's In?". The Intermittent Fasting team is a more active team than the Keto and Intermittent Fasting team. So we have 4 ladies doing the ADF so far.

    The way it works is you eat what ever your diet is (not everyone is doing Keto on that team) on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Then on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we all fast from the last bite we have the night before until the next eat day of fasting. We have finished one week and I lost 2 lbs. The most I have lost in a long time. I don't know if it will keep working for me but it's worth it to me to stay with it.

    I'm doing OMAD on the eat days so that is 4 meals a week. I thought I would tell you about it incase you want to think about it and join us since you are already a member of that team anyway and your weight has plateau.

    I have been reading Dr. Cynthia Li's book "Brave New Medicine". Have you ever heard of her? Her story is so interesting. I bought her book from Amazon.

    Again, congratulation on getting to Onderland.

    Hi, Sadaf, No worries. I don't intend to give up. Thank you for your vitamin recommendations. I have been buying all of those and then some from Dr. berg for a long time.

    I know what you mean by the plateaus and healing. My being a lot older than you I have experienced that many times. You are still doing great by holding on to your lost weight. That says a lot about your determination.

    Yoyoing is what hurts a persons metabolisms, I think. It took me years to be able to get back on the Keto diet. Now it is my lifestyle for the rest of my life. I value your opinions.

    I have had an interest in nutrition since I was 16 and used to read any thing I could find on the subject, even the encyclopedia. Then when I was in my 20's I sold Shaklee food supplements and learn a lot more. I never feel like I know enough about nutrition so, these days I spend a lot of time researching on the internet. Some of that information I have to take with a grain of salt.
