Back again and with a vengeance.
I have managed to surprise and impress even myself since July 1st.
I have not lost as much weight as I had planned but I have accomplished a great deal more than expected.
I have succeeded in working out daily for the last 6 weeks. Mostly walking but I am routinely walking 3 miles a day, with the occasional 4 to 5 miles.
It has become both a compulsion and a need. I don't feel right if I don't walk daily.
The results are lower blood sugar, higher energy levels and I am fitting into clothes I was on the verge of throwing away. If I had, I would have had to go out and buy new ones. And money is on the short side.
I am on Sparks daily reading and tracking my progress. My life style is changing and so is my out look on the future.

My Goals:
My goals are shifting as I learn more of what I can and can't do.
The ultimate goal is to be at 200 lbs by July 2014. I retire in 2018..
Sell the homestead and RV for a year or so and enjoy the USA.
Look for a new home and begin a new life.

My Program:
My program is to continue the changes I have made to my diet and the exercise I do everyday and to understand that some days you just have to kick back and let your body enjoy being you.

Personal Information:
I sometimes feel like that Frank Sinatra song
where he sings the different things that he has been.
My students think I have done everything and been everywhere.
I wish...
However as I get older I appreciate the diversity of jobs I done and the occupations I have performed.
Retirement is the new focus and I am looking forward to a whole new world in which to experience life.

    Hi Dad.

    Just checking in to see how you're doing. I just finished doing rhythm boxing on the wii. Got my fingers played off last night. We're doing the musical Annie this summer and the only places that I had any rests to recover from the constant playing on are the parts that they've cut out. 4 hours of non stop playing. Phew I'm surprised I could still play for my lesson today. Anyway, hope you're doing well. Hugs,

    Hi daddy. How goes it? I'm feeling like poo today.have my annual sinus infection wreaking havoc with my work out schedule. Oh well. Can't work out when I can't breathe. Heading to the Dr on Tuesday if I don't feel better.
