Hi. I'm Tracy. I'm 37 years old, wife to a wonderful husband, and mother to a gorgeous 7 year old girl and precious 5 year old boy. I've really struggled with stress/emotional eating in the past 3 years or so and dealing with the "mommy guilt" when taking the time to take care of myself. But things have got to change..I need to be healthier for me and for my family. I'm ready to take time to care for ME so that I can be there for THEM. It's time to lose the weight, gain my energy, and remember that part of me that used to LIVE for exercise and fitness. (Where did that girl go?!) It's time to find a better balance of caring for my family and caring for myself.

My ultimate goal is to be a healthy energetic Mom and role model for my children.

I feel best when I am eating a very clean natural diet, with almost no processed foods. I try to stick with foods God created, and stay away from chemical additives.


I love really tough, kick butt workouts, like bootcamp, kettlebells, spinning and running. I also enjoy yoga and if I had the time, I could just walk and walk for hours, but usually I don't have that much time alas the "kick butt" workouts. Since I'm just getting started after a very long fitness hiatus, I'm taking it slow to start. I'm focusing on walking/jogging intervals, stretching and light strength training for a while. I'll up the intensity when my body's ready for it.

I'm committing to enjoying the journey, not impatiently awaiting getting to the destination (as I've done the past).

My Goals:
My goals are to lose the weight and keep it off, by incorporating a BALANCED, healthy lifestyle.



My Program:
I am eating around 1400 calories per day and drinking at least 4 liters of water per day. Keeping my diet as natural as possible. I just joined weight watchers.

I look forward to doing a variety of different workouts to keep my mind and body from getting too bored and avoid injury. I like to run intervals, the 21 day fix program, Insanity Max 30, Body Pump, a "bootcamp/P90x "type class, Barre, Yoga, and Spinning.
I love a good hard workout and the feeling of sweat dripping down my body. But to start I am going to focus on walking and stretching for a few weeks.

    Hello! I found your page doing a search on Juicing on SparkPeople. I'm a relatively new spark.. um.. person and recently decided to try a juice fast. I haven't started yet, as my juicer is still in transit. Reading about your juicing experience is very helpful. I am currently eating a plant strong diet to try to prepare my body for the change. Yesterday I had the worst headache! At any rate, thank you for blogging about your experience. Very helpful. :)
