I continue on a long, long plateau which I jut broke through in Feb. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with family losses, my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but got little time there this winter. Even though I didn't do as I hoped, I made a very important goal to me and now have my sight set on a smaller and doable goal of 16#. I have spent 28 yrs in TX. & planning to return to MN. in the spring as we usually do. I now need to take care of me and lower my stress sources.
I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

Thank you for your reply. I hope you get to make that trip. I always encourage anyone who talks about visiting Nova Scotia but I know how family and life can get in the way of things we want to do.

I have been joining Facebook groups and checking apps for recording food. There are so many that I haven't decided which one I prefer. It is the Spark blogs that I think I will miss most.

Because SparkPeople is closing, I have been re-reading some of the blogs I wrote in earlier years. Back on Aug 1, 2010, I wrote about our vacation in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. You were one of those who made a comment. You told me that your husband was two years from retiring and you were hoping to visit the Maritimes. After I read that, I checked and you are still on SP. I am wondering if you were able to make that trip. Just curious. Now that the world is starting to open up again, I am hoping that soon I will be able to go home to NS again.

""Know that you get to decide how you paint every inch of your canvas...
color, the texture, the size, the light, everything. It really is all up to you.
Don’t be afraid to try new things or add new designs
because that’s what your canvas is for. Use bold colors,
paint over mistakes, start over whenever you want.
This is your life and your masterpiece....create one you love.”"

Happy Friday! We have arrived at the end of another week, and this one seemed to literally fly on by due to the shorter week!

Now that places and things are beginning to open up again, my husband and I have decided to getaway for about a week, and it's been quite awhile since we've taken any kind of a vacation. We haven't decided exactly where to go, but I'm open to suggestions.
I thought it might help with your suggestions if I share with you some of the places I've already been . . .

I've been to a lot of places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've never been in Cognito either. I hear that nobody recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport. You have to be driven there. Thanks to some of my extended family and friends, I have been there several times.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to do a lot of jumping, and I've never had enough stamina for that much exercise, and at my age, my knees just can't take it anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there very often.

I have been in Flexible, but only when it has been very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I've been going there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age, I need all the stimuli I can get!

And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible, but life frequently shows me I am not.

People keep telling me I’m in Denial, but I’m positive I’ve never been there before.

So far, I haven’t been in Continent. But my travel agent says I’ll be going soon, and very frequently. I'm not looking forward to it because it can get very wet and damp there.

I've been in Deepdoodoo quite a bit. The more adventurous I get, the easier it is to end up there.
