I’m Azetta.

It has been a VERY long time since I have been on here.

Last time I was on, I was 23... in a few short days I will be 26.

Last time ‘round (back in 2014) I was in a great spot... for the most part. I was down 45 lbs, then lost a total of almost 60 lbs overall, and maintained until I became pregnant in late 2015, (yes, I’m a mommy now!) I had gained back practically all of the weight I lost while pregnant.

Once my beautiful daughter was born in July of 2016, one week after her birth, I weighed in at 7 lbs heavier than my pre-baby weight. I had almost lost all of the weight I gained. I thought I would have lost more after that since I was breastfeeding and a stay at home mommy, but unfortunately my life turned upside down.

A few months after my daughter was born I lost my father, then my brother a few weeks after, both unexpectedly. I shut down. I checked out. And I gained all of my weight back and then some. I was in a dark place... and honestly I still am.

I went back to work in Dec of 2016 after I lost my dad and brother to escape the hurt. We lived right across the street from them. After gaining 70+ lbs, I managed to lose 30+ lbs of the weight gained. 20 lbs with a trainer, and about 10+ lbs on my own.

I’m here because I need a change in my life. I’m practically at rock bottom. I quit my job this month and moved back home. I have a 1 year old daughter who’s my entire world and depending on me to be hers. I didn’t know what else to do. I felt as if I was losing control and losing my mind in every aspect.

I know I sound crazy for quitting my job and not having another set up, let alone with moving back home, but I couldn’t function. I couldn’t think. I couldnt feel. I still can’t.

All I do is eat and stuff it all down.

I’m hoping that by coming in here I’ll feel what I once felt... hope.

I am working on making 2018 the most amazing year yet. I’m ready to change the game and start all of the way over. I’m here to be held accountable. To talk with people who understand and get me. I’m here for my daughter, and most importantly... me.

I love people and enjoy making new friends. All I want is to succeed in life.
