Thank you for reading my blog “What is a WeekEND”
Connecting with other Sparkers has been so helpful for me to keep things in perspective.

Appreciated your comment on that platinum rule blog thank you!! You ask (and it's a good question) what if we are NOT able to take care of ourselves? And of course there are always times we need help from others: I can't perform my own breast cancer surgery, for example. But what has struck me is how simple and easy most daily acts of self care, to meet my own needs, really are: for example, stretching when I need to stretch, making myself a delicious meal of Atlantic salmon with a maple syrup/soy glaze and wild rice and kale slaw in a lemony dressing . . . not hard! Just noting when I need to take a nap and doing that . . . rather than soldiering on and cleaning out all the kitchen cupboards instead!!

Thank you for reading my blog re that fictitious “team” and sharing your perspective.
It definitely represented the low point in advertising objectifying women and the backlash was welcome and justified. Finding Spark and staying connected changed my life for the better

Thank you for reading my blog “Fitting in with Mother Nature or NOT”
The power company does have regulations to protect the lake but only right on the shoreline.
There was a LOT of local opposition even to that.
There are warnings about the dangers of clearcutting, erosion, poisonous runoff and resulting damage but some do not care. Their freedom to do as they wish is more important than the well being of our shared environment.
