Hi my name is LaVell, I am a married father of three children. I am an avid reader of books especially horror. I love all kinds of music. I am a collector of comics (over 13,000) dragons.gargoyles and swords.
I believe in motivating others by setting an positive example.This in turn will keep me accountable and stay on track with my goals.
I love football,basketball and the Tour de France. I have a small collection of about 600 books. My goal is to have read all the Brom Stoker winners and nominees to judge for myself which books were better.
I hear I am funny,sarcastic and kinda weird,which I like.
My highest weight was 321 pounds . I was down to 311 when I decided to utilize Sparkpeople. I actually joined Sparkpeople and was a member a whole year before I decided to use it. I just used the sparkrecipes and had no clue about the other wonders of Sparkpeople.

Lose 70 lbs. by Dec 2012
lost 63 thus far.
Totally off medications. Down to only one pill from 4 daily.
Lower cholesterol. Normal now
Lower Blood Pressure.
Normal now.
Type-2 Diabetic.
Not Diabetic anymore.
Stick to healthy habits.working everyday.

My Program:
Cardio :5 times a week . Consisting of cycling,jogging,walking,boxing
Strength training 4 times a week.( love to strength train)

    I'm trying to put my life back together after an emotional year and a half. Lots of changes and now I'm just sitting here like "O.K., what next?" I really do not know. So I decided to start by focusing on my health again. It's something I always keep in the back of my mind but I'm definitely not the same person I was.

    I see you like to read. Two great books are "A History of Nearly Everything" and "A Walk in the Woods" both by Bill Bryson. I loved them. One is about how the odds we were ever born are off the scale, and the other is his hiking the Appalachian Trail.
