I'm a 47 year old bald fat guy that is sick and tired of being SICK AND TIRED. Actually my health is not as bad as it could be with just some blood presure problems and sleep apnea (it really could be much worst). I got my c-pap machine about 6 months ago and I'm finally getting about seven hours of sleep a night, but for four years I was getting zero sleep. I decided to make a New Years resolution in 2007 to get the exercise my body has been screaming at me to get. I went to all the local gyms and evaluated their plans and made my decision on one three days ago (January 9, 2007). I understand that this process is like eating an elephant, ONE BITE AT A TIME, so I started on the treadmill 20 min. and the bike 10 min. and introduced my weak muscles to some of the weight machines for about 10 min. Today (day three) I'm up to 30 min. on the treadmill, 15 min. on the bike and about 20min. with the weights and I feel GREAT!

My Program:
I joined a gym 1/09/2007. walking on treadmill, using stationary bike, and introducing my muscles to some of the weight machines.

I'm from the east end of Louisville, my name is Mike.

Other Information:
I work at home and have finally decided to get my BIG butt active again, I read the article in The Courier Journal (Thursday's Health and Fitness section) and since, I started my new years resolution three days ago. I thought this SparkPeople program would help keep me motivated.
