May 3 2015:
After restarting my weight loss journey last year, I have learned a lot. Until January 2015 my weight had been pretty stable, and I hadn't lost much, if anything. Then, I decided to not have any sweets at all for January and February. I lost almost 25 lb. In two months.

After not restricting my sweets for two months after this, I've gained a couple of these lbs back. Not more than five, but still. This tells me that my main problem is food. I drink way too much energy drinks and eat way too much junk. And I felt soo good in February, when the sugar withdrawal was over. (January was a bit, well, crappy, with cravings and headaches and stuff). And now, even though I feel like crap, physically, after eating crappy foods, and everything sweet is way too sweet for me, I still eat it. And I eat a lot of it.

So from now on, I will concentrate on eating less crap (no sweets on weekdays! No soda either! Only weekend sweets and soda.), and also change my gym membership from the cheap one that's awkward to get to, to the slightly more expensive one (but still fairly cheap) which is on the way to work. This new eating good stuff and exercise more regiment will be the thing.

I just need to take it slowly and steadily. And cutting down on sweets will be my first priority.

May 29 2014:
Too many years I've spent sitting on my butt doing nothing. I reached 245 lb at the start of 2014. Due to the stomach flu, I lost 18 lb due to not eating anything for almost a week. Luckily, since then (two months or so) I haven't gained anything back, due to the fact that I decided it would be kind of a new start for me, and started eating less stuff that is bad for me. So almost no sweets, and I went from drinking soda three or four times a week to less than once a week, and then in much smaller quantities.

So now, as of May 29 2014, I will do a serious effort to shed some of those remaining excess pounds. I tend to lose motivation easily, but not this time!
