Hello everyone, I have found my way back and missed each of you. I had major back surgery in June of this year and am on the final leg of my recovery period. Hoping to return to work soon. Additionally, TC and I are moving into a new Town Home the first part of Sept, so we are especially excited about that.

We are back to stay, and send hugs and love to each of you!

Fitness Minutes: 12,500

My Goals:
Obtain goal weight of 135!

Love and laugh with life!




Keep all negativity at bay ... only POSITIVE actions/thoughts in my space!


My Program:
Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily!

Eating plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

Exercise daily, and walk, walk, and then walk some more!

Share Spark People with everyone that I encounter DAILY!



Personal Information:
I am originally born and raised in TX. Moved to Vegas in `82, then to Seattle in `04. Finally moved to CO. in Nov. of `04.

I am raising my granddaughter who lost her mother at the age of 20 months old. My daughter lives on in my granddaughter so I am very blessed.


I love to do my arts and crafts, reading and writing.

Working with children is rewarding as they have so much to learn from us, and it is our duty to protect them to give them the best start in life.

People on all levels are what makes life interesting!


Other Information:
I love to laugh, and to that end I love to see others smile and laugh. It just makes any day better when you can laugh. It keeps us young too!

I am never negative, I will always look for the good even in the worst situations.

How I perceive my reality, what I draw towards me is what makes up my world/space. I choose for it to be loving and healthy for myself and all those around me!

    I'm reading the BECK DIET SOLUTION, which isn't a "diet" but she teaches how to THINK like a THIN person. (Got a copy from the library.) I recommend it to everyone. (We have a support team here at Sparks.)

    Walking for five minutes is better than walking for zero minutes. Exercise is essential even if I don't do very much at first. I can build up the amount that I do over time, but I have to start somewhere.

    Hunger is never an emergency. It is only mildly uncomfortable. I can tolerate it. It will come and go.

    I really do deserve credit for breaking old habits and it is essential for building my confidence. Once my confidence grows everything will become so much easier.

    If I want to lose weight permanently, I can't make exceptions. I'd rather be thinner. I can't overeat on week-ends or any other time.

    I have to develop the habit of eating every bite slowly, while sitting down, so I can fully enjoy it. It is worth developing this habit, so that I can have a lifetime of being thinner.

    I'm not going to let any minor setback ruin everything I've accomplished. One mistake dosn't ruin my diet, but falling back into old habits will.
    I will recommit to my diet right here, right now!

    Exercise is not negotiable for good health. It needs to be a daily lifetime habit and I need to make it so. The hardest part is getting started. I'll feel so much better when I'm done. So get started!

    OH WELL! I'm going to ignore this craving. I'm going to do something and let it subside. I'm turning my attention to something else, like exercise.
