For a long time I've concentrated on improving my body. I've realized that I was neglecting two other important parts of me - mind and spirit. It takes all three to be a healthy and whole person. I started on this mind/body/spirit journey about five years ago. Having turned 70 on Christmas Eve 2016, I'm looking to a much fuller and balanced life in the next decade. I know that age is just a number and it's never too late to change and grow. "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing." Isaiah 43:18

My Goals:
Be grateful and count my blessings
Be intentional about exercise and moving
Be mindful about my diet, making more healthy choices each day
Find ways to serve someone

My Program:
For Now ~~ Starting Jan 18th - a 10 week Life Style Program: 90 min. nutrition talk 1x week; time w/ personal trainer 2x week; use of the gym by myself 1x week; pre and post assessments; Celebration and Awards Banquet. I'm very excited about doing this as a kick start to starting new healthy habits.

Personal Information:
I'm married, have two children and 4 grandchildren. My family is a blessing everyday. I'm a retired 4th grade teacher from a Christian school. My husband is still teaching at a university. We like to travel in an RV, and I look forward to the time when we are not restricted by his schedule. I've lived most of my life in western PA and moved to Ohio in 2007.

Other Information:
I love spending time with my kids and grand kids, knit and sew, research my ancestors, play hand bells, spend time with my P.E.O. sisters, and give programs on a book I published. I enjoy having people tell me stories about their Civil War ancestors. (
