Trying for many years to lose. Keep getting off track. Want to feel and look healthy and more update: Changes since 9/12: Have lost 13 lbs, fit into pants that are 2 sizes smaller, miss it when I do not exercise, have more energy, enjoy healthy eating much more and unhealthy processed foods less. (1/21/13) 4/13/13. update. Finally in the next size down. Have lost 3 pant sizes since beginning with Spark People. Feeling much healthier. Glad I am developing new habits. 10/06/13 Update. I am down under 200 lbs!!! My divorce is almost final, the house is sold, I am an independent strong woman. Ironically, I weighed 196 the day I got married almost 27 years ago. I now am at 198 and with the divorce almost over, It is very possible that I will be to my wedding weight. Wonder what this all means :-) 6/30/13. Update. Need to get serious again if I want to get to my goal weight by the end of the year. Waffling around the 210-214 range. Upping the exercise a bit and careful on what I eat, Here I come!! 4/20/13: Major hiccup. I am now going through a divorce. Very surreal. Determined to stay on track and continue my healthy habits during this time. 5/2: New mini goal/streak to exercise daily and Measure all food going into my mouth!! 8/3/2013: Working through divorce/home sale/managing an additional area. All of these things have been hard but interestingly, I feel so much stronger with my daily positive motivation, healthy lifestyle to work toward. This all will not break me. I have grown stronger. November 17. 2013. Update. Divorce is final!! Contract made on a new home. Started a small business along with my regular job. Out volunteering and doing what I love. Now... to bust through the mid 190''s plataeu. No excuses!! January 2014: It is a brand new year. I have grown in leaps and bounds in 2013. Time to put what I have learned to good use and practice this new knowledge!! April 2014: Update. I am in a new relationship. In love with a farmer. Will see what happens with this new love. Also in my own permanent home!! Love the changes happening in my life. 4/3/15. I have moved to the farm. Loving living here. Now just to sell the other home. I need to get back on track and lose about 20 lbs to be comfortible

    I love how you "get me" and knowing I'm not alone makes me feel like I'm not crazy. You look fabulous so I'm glad you feel fabulous! Someone on my blog mentioned trying to find reasons to lose the last few pounds. I thought maybe I could pick up my 20 pound dumbbell, that I can not lift for regular exercise, and carry it in my living room for a few minutes. Then when I put it down and see how much easier it is, I will remind myself how much easier it'll be in 20-30 pounds. Just because it's "good now" doesn't mean it can't be better later. We can do this! :D But we also deserve to enjoy the NOW! :D

    Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. Sometimes it`s hard to effectively communicate. Lives these days seem to be so easily overwhelmed with work and financial affairs. I think we just all have to remind ourselves that the most important thing in life is our relationships, family, friends and all. At the end of our lives it`s those who love us that matter the most..not what we possess material wise. Thanks for the support emoticon
