I finally finished insanity and have compiled my progress pictures. I was super bloated the morning of the last pictures, my friend had passed over the weekend, so I hadn't slept well either. I can physically see how bloated I was on the picture on bottom left, but even so I think I can see some changes. Will upload my stats soon. Stay tuned for the actual body composition changes.

I may not have reached my goal this month but I still made progress and at the end of the day, that's what matters.

Thanks for the blog comment on "The rest of the story". Happy Monday. I hope you will have a wonderful week.

"It really is a journey — time and consistency will always pay off even if you don't see the results right away. It's so important to take small steps and make small changes for long-term results. Start to swap out less healthy foods for healthier ones, start small by walking 10 to 15 minutes every day, and add on from there. Have a support system around you, and enjoy and trust the process."-Sara Rzepkowski

"She explains that weight loss is an external goal and doesn't work as well as internal goals such as living a healthy lifestyle and a commitment to consistent self-care, body appreciation and self-kindness.

Moreover, she says, weight-loss as a goal puts the emphasis on the end of a process, whereas focusing on habits such as tuning into hunger and satiety signals, practicing kind and motivating self-talk, and nutritious eating, focus on the process itself."-Paige O'Mahoney, M.D., intuitive eating counselor

I saw you on the community feed and came over for a visit. Great Spark Streaks and trophies.
Good for you!!! I added you as a Spark Friend. I look forward to traveling this journey with you. I hope you will have a wonderful weekend.

My blog today was about loving myself right where I am. It's an important part of this weight management process. My tummy certainly thanked me.

"While weight loss is important, what's more important is the quality of food you put in your body-food is information that quickly changes your metabolism and genes."-Mark Hyman.

You know, when I hit 196 - 193, my weight stayed put for about 2 months- the inches didn't shift much either. I don't say this to you to upset you- I just weighed in and my weight dropped 4 pounds! That has made me rethink the changes we are putting our bodies through with our weight loss. I think maybe it just is a natural readjustment. Stay the course- I think you'll be just fine. PV emoticon
