July 2012:

These last 6 months have been all about running. Over this time I have run run and run some more. I have participated in a bunch of races including a 15k charity race - 2 Road Half Marathons 2 Trail Races - 1 was 21.5k and one 30k. And I completed my first ever Marathon.

In this time I have got to my goal weight of 75kg's and actually even went down below that to 73.9 at one point.

As I switched up into maintenance mode I have put on a kilo or two and I seem to fluctuate between 75.5 and 77kg. I am pretty happy here at this point and just working to maintain it. Not get complacent and go on any eating binges.

January 2012: Update

Celebrating, Enjoying Success. I am basically at the halfway point of the weight loss journey. As of today January 11 2012 I have lost 10kg again on Sparkpeople I have been Sparked!

Welcome to my spot in the Sparkpeople family. I joined Sparkpeople back on the 2nd January 2006 when I first realised it was time to do something about my health and my weight.

I worked really really hard and lost all the weight, hit goal weight. Maintained for a while... got injured got slack got busy with work and well .... you know the story.

I even quit spark and then found myself missing something. Realised I needed the accountability of the site... needed to track... needed the friends from the boards and the teams....

Well its been a busy couple of years since I last updated this page... the weight and the fitness have gone up and gone down... more up than down unfortunately...

Here I am now with weight almost at the starting point again.... fitness dropped right off... so its time to get accountable again... time to track the food, track the exercise... post on the boards....

Thanks for being there all my sparky friends... thanks for creating this place and this program Sparkguy... Thanks for being part of it sparkcoaches.. and thanks for joining sparkmembers.....
