Where I have been? The question many of my Spark friends have been asking. After losing the babies I had a lot to deal with personal, mental and physical. I jumped off the band wagon and had to heal for awhile. I am still healing. But now I am ready to face my challenges, live with this new knowledge and start heading into a healthier lifestyle.
Yesterday while working with my students I said the chant, "When you think your done, you have only just begun." It is my new slogan for this year. I thought my life was over yet I am still here, realizing I am stronger than I ever give myself credit for.
So to my Spark friends I am back!

Fitness Minutes: 12,409

My Goals:
My brother is getting married in August. I would like to lose 50 lbs by then so that I can look good in the photos.

Goals for April:
*Take a spin class once a week.
*Start training for a 5K.
*Continue to stay within my calorie range.
*Take 15 minutes a day to meditate/yoga.
*Lose 5-10 lbs and post a picture of the new me on April 30th (my 31st b-day)

My Program:
Using this program I am tracking my food and workouts. I am venting to my husband and friends, I stress out a lot. I get in at least 30 minutes of exercise with Monday being my only day off. Strength training is going well so I am moving it up to 4 days a week. I am trying 3 new recipes a week. And take out is limited to once a week.

Personal Information:
I have a loving husband who is my biggest supporter and my best friend. We will be married for 9 years in May. I have an 11 year old cat, she is my fur child, named Tasha. I swear she acts like a human child at times! I am currently a reading teacher and LOVE teaching my students.

Other Information:
I love SPARK! The members are awesome! I enjoy reading a good book with a cup of coffee in my hand. I have fun talking with friends and walking through the park. I enjoy playing water volleyball with my gym friends. I am always up for a challenge because it encourages me to face fears and try something new.

    You have come to the right place for information, support, motivation and ideas. My first advice would be to learn your food/fitness trackers well and then USE them. They will get you and keep you on track. Then find a team or two that meet your goals or interests and then become active on them. Motivating others will certainly motivate you. Check out our new challenge for the month under the challenge thread! If you have any questions, just ask through spark mail or give a shout on one of the message boards and someone will come running!! I wish you well on your journey. Good luck
