Making the right choices is a daily battle and always will be for me.

I know everything I need to in order to get the weight off. The hard part for me is finding and keeping my motivation and continuing the journey day after day. It is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change and a choice every day and every meal. This is my Journey to make the best ones!

My Goals:
To get healthier and feel more comfortable in my own skin!

Goal 1: Lose 10% of my body weight

Goal 2: Eat 4 fruits and veggies a day and then increase from there

Goal 3: Track my food on sparkpeople at least 4 days a week.

I want to be a role model for my kids and friends. I want to put myself first and take care of myself so I can be here longer for my family!

My Program:
Make Healthier Choices (read quit the sweets!)

Eat lots of fruits and veggies

Eat whole grains with lots of fiber

Water Water Water

Lean meats, chicken, Ground Turket, Lean Ground Beef (not too much of this)

Be happier with myself!!

Taking it one step at a time.

DONT let the scale rule me!!!

Personal Information:
I remarried in 2011 to the most amazing man ever.

I have one wonderful son and three great stepchildren.

It can be challenging sometimes to balance everything in my life but I would not change anything at all from where I am now!!

Other Information:
I have suffered many hardships and losses in the past 5 years including the loss of 3 out of four parents, my father's cancer which he has survived, a difficult divorce and ongoing court, financial difficulties, knee injuries, the loss of jobs and more.

It has taken it's toll and taken over my life. The stress eating has put pounds back on that had taken so much effort to take off. I need so much to take them back off so that I can feel good again. I need to do this for me, my husband, and mostly to be an inspiration to my Kids!

    OK- Miss Lynda!!! Thanks for telling it to me like it is!! You made me laugh. I'm not throwing in the towel, just slacking some. After your message- I went to the gym. 1st time in a week. (starting the shots in my knees again) I go again tomorrow. I'm doing 5 in each knee so its gonna hold me up for WEEKS! I'm SCARED- it hurt this time! I have to be smart when I do the late night meals. I need to plan. You gave me good ideas I just need to do it. Ill ttys- Thanks Again!!
