    Just signed up for an 18 mile charity walk so need to start training. It is in 3 weeks and 1 day after my planned Vegas vacation. Can we see crazy? Hopefully it goes well.

    I am starting week #5 and really love this Primal diet. I don't feel deprived at all. Plus my clothes are getting loose. Not much weight loss and the inches are coming off slowly but they are coming off!

    I heard on the radio that it is better to heal your body and then lose weigth than to think losing weight will heal your body and that is what this lifestyle does for us. It heals us first.

    good news dairy is okay for Primal just not Paleo. Not the most recommended but def. fine. Also as long as you keep your carbs under 150 then you will start getting lean and losing weight.

    Hey Spark Buddy,

    How are you doing? Are you 100% yet?

    I have been primal exactly 2 weeks. But have not slept for over a week now with less than 4 hrs a day. So this morning at 3 in the morning I had 1/2 cup of brown rice and was actually able to sleep for the first time. Thank goodness.

    I have called in sick for 3 days as well and can't do that for any longer. Def. need a job. :) I have been keeping a food journal and staying at around 75-125 a day with only primal foods. But can easily add a cup of oatmeal or 1/2 cup brown rice at night and stay within the range.

    I haven't been able to exercise in a week and need something to kick start my brain at night so I can feel rested. Right now I just feel dizzy (been 4 days of dizziness and no sleep). :)

    Great update news I lost 2 inches in my waist in 2 weeks and 8 pounds. Well actually 8 pounds the first week- none second due to lack of sleep. But now I know the secret for my body.

    Decided last week, I am going to get my PT certificate in TRX by the end of the year. Need to start studying for my general PT cert. My goal is to have a couple certs by the end of 12 weeks. Spring quarter starts at Stanford next week and I am hoping I can audit a few other course to help with my new fitness trainer goal.

    I do know that I will need to reduce my normal 7-10 hrs a week down to good 20 min. crossfit sessions and a little wt. training and of course add in some stretching sessions. I also want to go back to swimming at Stanford since it is so much more gentle on my knees. Hopefully that is not too much exercise "according to Primal. I do exercise for fun as well. Love to hike!

    BTW: I read online that Paleo flu can last weeks to months. I hope it doesn't last no more than a week longer. I need to get back into the gym to at least do some stuff. Been missing it.
