Well if nothing else I have learnt you cannot leave Sparkpeople why, because you put the weight back on.
I was absent for around 4 to 6mths and put on almost all the weight I had lost. Believe me it is harder to get off second time around.
I have motivation I am going on my first overseas holiday and travelling to Vanuatu in 3wks and wanted to be below 80kg I am running out of time. Now 83kg
Oh well I can only do so much.

I am a 58yrs old female battled with weight all my life. Now an insulin dependent diabetic with a mobility issue. I really need to loose 10% of my body weight in 2009. I love fishing too.

April 2010 lost more than the 10% now down to 77.4kg Have increased my exercising and am enjoying exercising. Have reduced my insulin injections from 5 a day to 2 a day what a plus. Am battling to get rid of the last few kgs.
My broken arm is still not right will have to do something about that. Feeling good and well.

Well I have not been on sparkpeople for many months and it show on the scales I have put on 9kg. I have had a really shocking 6mths. 6 hospital stays including 2 operations and still my arm is good I can lift it over my head now however, the back is st........ they want to do spinal surgery again but I am trying to not to have it yet. As you know I am a walking and bike riding fanatic but none of that for 5mths. I need to start living in the real world and not one I have created for myself. Just one word tells you what I am trying to say depression.
I am comming back even if I have to push myself. Sparkpeople are the best medicin.

Well almost another year gone and where am I got to goal weight and stopped using Sparkpeople and now I am almost back to where I started. This year 2014 will be a good year because I have decided to get back to goal. I have done it once and I know what is needed to be done so I will just DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

My Goals:
My highest weight 87.6
Octg 2008 joined sparkpeopole in Nov and got on tract.
1st goal was to get to 84.0 kg
2nd get below 80kg
3rd 76kg by June (my mothers 80th birthday party)
reach mainenance of 73 - 70kg by my birthday sept 7th

My Program:
I need to calorie and carb count.

I need to build my walking programme from current 1,500 steps a day to 10,000 steps a day.

Personal Information:
My name is Sylvia I am from Karumba, Queensland, Australia. My community is remote and we get cut off from rain every year. We have a permanent population of 600 and our tourists swell our little town to 5000 plus during the season. We do not have a shopping centre but a small supermarket, post office bakery butchers and chemist. Do we not have a doctor but one come to town for 2 half days a week.
Emergencies are handled by flying doctors.

Other Information:
Well it is now July 2017 and I have reached my goal of 76kg very happy with that. Would like to set a new goal of 73kg then perhaps 70kg if I am lucky.
