Trying again - it seems like my entire life I've been fighting this battle - at times I succeed other times I fail. I'm ready for a truce. I want to reach a healthy weight, lead a healthy lifestye and accept myself and my body. I realize that I'll never be a size 3 but I need to be healthy.

My Goals:
I'm searching for a long term healthy plan. I need to loose weight but I need something I can live with forever.

My Program:
I'm torn - I do well on atkins - which for me is not a pound of bacon it basically cutting out processed foods. But I have a hard time living that way and keeping the weight off. I don't loose any weight on programs like weight watchers becasue all I eat is processed foods and fruits and veggies. Right now I'm watching my calerie intake, trying to eat high protein because I stay full longer and trying to cut out the processed carbs. Probably going ot try the Crack the fat loss code so I can find a good balance.

Personal Information:
I currently live in Clayton, NC. i work full time and have an 7.5 Year old and a 2 year old. I've been really loosing the battle with weight since his birth. He's kind of a high maintenance little guy and I'm really strugglling to find balance in my life with 2 kids. Wouldn't trade them for the world though.

Other Information:
Love Janet Evanovich books and any type of good mystery with a touch of romance

I would love to find a buddy to help me through this process. I need to be held accountable and it seems that I've lost touch with many of my friends because we're all busy raising families.

    Put the girl scout cookies in the freezer, or if it is cold enough, in outdoor storage! Get them as far away from you as possible and then plop a bag of carrots or some other healthy food in front of you and remind yourself to eat that instead. Good luck!
