Turning a corner

Monday, April 28, 2008

I think I am turning a corner. So far today, I have kept to my food plan! Woo Hoo!! I just came back from a successful grocery store trip. Ate my healthy lunch and put away the perishable food.

I weighed this a.m. and wasn't surprised that I gained 2.3 lbs. I know I made bad food choices. That is the past now. I am getting back on track and marching on.

Thanks so much for all my Spark People friends who have encouraged me to NOT GIVE UP!

I gained weight this week too so I know how you're feeling. Why is it always so hard to get back on track after a weight gain?

But I'm with you, the past is the past and today I'll eat what I'm supposed to eat, which by the way is the stuff that really makes me feel good. I mean who ever feels good after eating a Big Mac? I think you can actually feel your arteries hardening while you're eating it and that doesn't feel nice.. But eat a nice healthy salad and you feel really alive and light and wonderful.

Today I want to feel wonderful. emoticon

    It is ok...

You are back on track now... Do Not Give up.. this is not an easy journey.. Believe in yourself and believe that you can do this..

It is so easy to just go back to old patterns... You are beginning to make new patterns... Keep up the good work..
