New month! New motivation!

Wednesday, July 02, 2008

I am really going to try to blog more and keep myself and everyone else updated on what is going on in my life. I feel really motivated that July is going to be a great month. I have moved myself from Stage 1 to stage 2. I had already been working on moderation & portion awareness and control. I think I am getting better at it and it doesn't require as much effort as it did a few weeks ago. I have awesome motivation in the work out dept. I have one of my best friends to exercise with now. I love going to the gym knowing she will be there with me. Our lives have kept us from being as close as we use to be and I want to change that as well. I love we have this common goal to work on together. I feel truly inspired today!

I did forget about posting my walk across America miles. I will remember to do that.

Momy, I would agree to before, during & after pictures but I AM NOT standing "in front" of you. Ha! You have to be fully in the picture. HA! No hiding. Let DH know this is NOT his fantasy photo shoot. Ha! We will be fully clothed. HA! No PJ's! HA!

I am so happy we are in this together. I really needed a friend to get me motivated and it is just so great that it is you. I have been wanting to get on track for awhile now but just didn't have the motivation to do anything. I think that maybe we should take a before picture together and update it once a month or so. Although, it wouldn't be a true before picture for you. You were able to keep a lot of weight off. Let me know when you can go to the gym again.

How did the game go tonight?

I definitely would love to have a work out "group". I have met several great people that I would love to meet in person. You two are definitely included on that list. You are both so positive and inspirational. Naomi... there are so many times I wish I could just hug you. Having a son who is autistic is trying at times but you have that and then more with your son. I feel for you so much with what you have to go thru. Even with the distance.... I feel a connection with several people. Thank you guys so much for the encouragement and friendship.

I love that you are able to reconnect with your friend. I know you both will gain so much from each other. I am extremely excited that you are doing so well. Definitely keep us updated. We are in this together. I too would join you if I lived close enough :) maybe we should have a goonie reunion when we all meet our goals :) emoticon

You gave me butterflies in my stomach... I am sooooo excited for you! Too bad though that I live so far away... or I could join you and your friend at the gym. Oh well... maybe one day our paths will cross. Wouldn't that be awesome?
