I'm optimistic about the coming months, because I'm really geared toward losing more weight to be ready for spring! DD's wedding is April 21, and DS's is May 29. I'm gonna get into the skinniest dresses I can!!
Updating stats :
Only lost 2 lbs in September, but I'll take it, since that included a 5 lb gain while on vacation. (How can you gain when you're walking on the beach and bike riding all day??!! - oh I know the answer to that - not tracking calories even though you think you're not doing too badly!)
So Weight - 235 - Total lost since 12/30/07 - 47 lbs.
Neck - 14 - total lost 2.25
Bust - 43 - total lost 7.75
Waist - 40 - total lost 8
L Arm - 15.25 - total lost 3.5
R Arm - 15.25 - total lost 3.75
Hips - 51 - total lost 8
L Thigh - 23.5 - total lost 6
R Thigh - 23.75 - total lost 7.25
L Calf - 16.5 - total lost 2
R Calf - 16 - total lost 2.5
Total inches lost since 1/12/2007 - 51!
Just starting the Biggest Loser Challenge 8 next week, so hopefully that will help to get through the next 3 months. September - December is where I fell off last year, so plans are NOT to do that again. Just so happens, that the weight I was at last Sept 30 is the same as what I'm at this Sept 30. . . So basically I lost 47 lbs the first 9 months of 2007, gained 21 back (or never really lost it, cos I was trying to lean on the scales to make them say less!), and now have lost 21 lbs this year so far. So, all-in-all, not toooo bad.
I sure can tell a difference in the way I feel. An hour of cardio a day has really made me feel better. I can almost feel muscle in my upper legs - and it feels much thinner than the layer of fat that was over them!! It is much easier not to consume myself with wanting to eat. . . especially with just two of us at home and not buying to fill up two kids! Can't imagine myself ever gaining back what I've lost, because I enjoy the fitness level that I'm at now. And not having the indigestion that I used to get when I ate too much! Someday, I'd like to run with my daughter - so I'm working up to that! So far, walking and biking is where it's at!
