New Scale ..

So I've been keeping up with everything as best as possible. I've been going to the gym at least 5 days a week for 5 weeks now. I'm up to a level 4 for 40 mins on the elliptical!! I've been eating about 1200-1300 calories a day and I still feel wonderful!! The thing is my new scale made me mad and kinda messed me up, I feel better about it now but I was PiSSED off this week! haha

I wrote about my stupid old scale in my last blog and I said how I thought it lied to me!! so I ordered a nice new WW scale and I was really excited to get it for some reason! Hahahaha well I got it on Wednesday night and when I got on it, I almost died!! I thought I was down to 152 on like Monday but today I went on my new 1 and I'm really 155.4, but I think I can deal with that! lol I guess it's better to know how much I really weigh than to be lied to! I still know I've lost weight even though I have no idea how much, that's not even a big deal!!

But it's not even all about the scale anyway ..my boyfriend said I look skinnier and he said I'm noticeably happier so I think that's great!! I AM so happy!!

This has been a long week at work and I'm super excited it's Friday!! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!!!!!!

    Oh, I feel you when I first got my new scale with BF% etc. I was so excited and I learned my old (really old) scale was off by almost 10 lbs.!!!!! And in the wrong direction - yikes!
    It is just a number! LOL! Hang in there! Sounds like you've been working hard... keep up the great work and you'll reach your goal in no time!

    Hey! Thanks for your sweet comments! I TOTALLY feel you on the scale thing. I obsessively weigh on any scale I'm around so the numbers jump all over the place and drive me crazy! I should listen to my own advice, but it is definitely good to stick with one scale so that you can watch the progress consistently. I hope this new one works wonders for you!

    I am 5'9" by the way :) Tall huh?

    Hi! I'm not sure if we ever spoke but I've got the notification that you added me to your friend list! So I wanted to check out your page.

    I had the same problem with my weight scale. My old one was really messed up. Every time I was to get on it, it would show me different number. I would have to step on it like 10 times, one time after another (a few secs apart) and then guess which one of the numbers it showed is the correct one. It could say I weight 130 and in few seconds 132, and then 128...it was really annoying.

    So I finally got a new one. Gladly there was not much difference between what my old and the new one showed me...I just didnt have to step on the new one 10 times and then find the average.

    But I noticed that sometime it too does this thing. Just few days ago it showed I weighted 131.2, then in few seconds I stepped on it again and it showed I was 133 and then I tried again and it was something like 132, and then 131.6

    I figured it was 131.2 since just yesterday I was 131 and I did not go over my calorie limit. Perhaps it might be the water fluctuation in your body and things like that. I notice my scale shows me more on the days when I ate too close to the bedtime or if I ate soup (I like salt a lot) the day before, even if I did not exceed my calorie limit and exercised.

    Anyways, good luck with your new scale. I'm sure it'll work out.
