Prayers to Heaven Please

I am usually a person who tries to really be up at all times under all situations, but, this past Tuesday my Dad who is 76 years old suffered a severe heart attack and the prognosis does not look good at all.
My parents live in a very small town in rural New Mexico with no hospital, so my Dad was taken by helicopter over two hours away to the nearest hospital. My Mom talked to the Doctor yesterday who stated that Dad is very critical as his blood pressure is very low and he cannot breath on his own. When he got to the hospital they put in three stints to help with the blood flow. The Doctor stated that since there has not been any improvement within the first 24 hours it does not look good. He is heavy sedated and unconscious at this point.
I am having a really hard time with all of this! I just went to see my parents over the Memorial Day Week-end so for that I am glad that I got to visit with him in a better condition than he is today. My Dad's Mom died at the age of 56 of a massive heart attack, so it seems that bad hearts run in the family, or could it be the diet of the family. This has been on my mind for some time and the family health history and the diet. Reaching the ripe old age that my grandmother was at the time of her death has been foremost on my mind and was one of the catalyst for booting my booty in gear to change my lifestyle and diet and get healthy to hopefully stop this bad heart condition in my family history.
At this time for anyone reading this blog, could you please just stop and say a prayer for my Dad? I appreciate all of the support that all my friends at Spark have given me! Thanks so much for being here for me. LOL ~ Janel
