It's hard for me to set goals. I wonder (& literally wander), "Is this too hard- I don't want to fail. Not hard enough- what's the point?
What do I really want to accomplish?
To lose weight- how much? To be healthy- how? What will I DO?
To earn my college degrees someone else gave me the small goals I would have to reach to accomplish the larger goal that had I set for myself. The same with NBC- I knew the end product, someone else set the small goals for me- boy, did they!
I have joined several challenges starting in the next week or so. These seem to help me focus.
The Virtual Walk/Run Challenge is one. It is a walk/run across the country with specific destinations along the way.
One of my goals is to start out walking, but by the end of the month, I will use the C25K program so that by the end I will be running a real 5K.
Second, I am on the Orange Tigers Biggest Loser Team & that will be a fun way to stay focused & we will encourage each other along the way. The team leaders are VERY stoked & want us to ROAR all the time.
BL will help meet goal number two- to lose 20 lbs. in the ten weeks that we will be competing & win the BL, of course!
Third, the Sculpt Your Body Team has great leaders & I will be toned by meeting those challenges.
Then there are my Wii Fit teams. They will help in all those areas.
I am focused & excited to get that leather Harley Jacket for Christmas- I DO NOT want to be the fat woman on the back of a motorcyle.
