Rebounding and Resumes

Thursday, December 03, 2009

Went to a rebounding class at the gym today. I'm really lovin the energy and routines and feel strong when I finish. The instructor today did some ab work along with those dreaded push-ups... but I know I need to work on that area so I should expect it to be tough. If I'm going to make 100 by the end of 2010 I need to get crackin! I'm going to check out the 100 pushups web site and see what they suggest for training. DB went to the gym with me and even tried the rebounding class. I have to give him a lot of credit for trying. He didn't have the endurance to finish and he needs to work on his balance ~ but for the first time trying he did fine. He plans to go with me again tomorrow.

DB and I have been working working working on his resume, cover letters and photo portfolio today. He plans to send out or deliver packets tomorrow to a number of places and they look pretty sharp if I do say so myself. He is a make-up and wig stylist and has experience working on various Broadway shows, TV and with a number of different celebrities. I tried to upload a photo but the file was too large! I'm not sure how to fix it on a Mac as I usually use Windows so I'm stumped. It was a photo shoot with a vintage 1920's type look and he did the hair and make-up. If I can get it figured out I'll post a copy later.

Have a great day my Spark Friends... Hugs to you all,

    Hi ya!

So happy you and DB are enjoying your work outs! Rebounding is absolutely THE BEST way of moving lymph in the body...and as I understand each jump gets DOUBLE the exercise. I wasn't good on balance to begin with either and had to put my rebounder right beside the couch to catch my balance if I needed to...hee hee..that improved VERY quickly.

I'm SO HAPPY that you are working with your bro to help spruce up his portfolio...we have one of Josh's dear girlfriends that he was friendly with that does professional makeup for film makers here in Florida...she does BEAUTIFUL work and we are VERY proud of her!

I can't tell you how my pic got posted today...yesterday it said that the 'file was too large' then bright and early this morning both pics that were rejected yesterday loaded beautifully...go figure?

Maybe the site can take on photos early in the day before it gets bogged down...no clue really! We have a Mac too.

Or...maybe you can go back to the original pic and crop to make it smaller..really no clue...just a guess.

I'm so proud of you Rhonda for all you do and who you are...a big blessing I say...whoop da to you my dear friend...whoop da!

How cool! My sister is an actress also in NYC. :) I understand about the porfolio, those headshots are high quality. I sure loved helping my sister work on her portfolio. Fun to pore over those cool photos... How cool that he managed to work on rebounding. I'd think that would take a TON of energy. Wondering how tomorrow will go. He'll probably be fairly sore. ;)

You are absolutely one of the most inspirational and motivational women I've ever met! Everywhere you go you set an example for the rest of us to follow: selflessness and dedication - and you *still* stay true to your workouts! Kudos!
