Christmas Cards and Chocolates - Not a good combination

Have to admit it... I didn't have a good eating day today. Worked on Christmas cards and made a few batches of chocolate pretzels and chocolate peanuts to "give away". Hmmmm.... a bit too much snacking with a little bite here and a little bite there. I'm not feeling real good about this little binge. I did do 35 minutes on the rebounder to try and work off some calories and counter balance but let's just say.. today wasn't pretty.

    Exactly the "excuse" you need to do really good on this new day! Here's sending lots of positive reinforcing thoughts your way! Remember that it's the over-several-day-average that really, really counts! You just "borrowed" from a couple of other days. Hit the lower end of your range for a few days, add in an extra 10 - 20 minutes of activity and move on forward! You are *still* excellent motivation to the rest of us! We love ya, girl!

    I realize this sounds bad, but you bring a smile to my face and make me laugh. I love the title of your blog and I appreciate your honesty so much. This healthy lifestyle journey is plain hard and so many people try to make it seem like a piece of cake (ooooops wrong word). To make this weight loss journey become a healthy lifelong habit means to have to make choices in easy times of the year and challenging times of the year including chocolate pretzels (sugar and salt - hard to beat) or chocolate peanuts (sweet and fat and salt - oh my). We have to somehow figure out how to live with pretty days and less than pretty days. You're doing great - p.s. love your fitness minutes - nice nice nice.
