Well I had been doing good as of 11/09/09 which was my last weigh in and I had lost my first 50 lbs. After that, the planning of my sister's wedding, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all these crazy pot lucks had really taken me off track. I was eating poorly and not working out. Today after so many weeks of avoiding reality I finally gave in and weighed myself. I can't believe how easy it is to gain so much weight back in such little time.

This is to open everyone's eyes and let you know that it is sooooo hard to lose the weight but Soooooo easy to gain it back. From 11/09/09 to today 12/28/09 I have gained exactly 10 lbs. That is HUGE. So as of today I will totally get back on track. Oh and another super important thing. Since 11/09 I had not been tracking my food on sparkpeople, and that totally threw me off, I thought I was invincible, and I was sooo wrong. I feel very ashamed of myself but I am not going to beat myself up. I will get back up because I know Exactly what to do to lose the weight. And I also know exactly what to do to gain it. So I prefer to follow the right and healthy path. I can do this, and I WILL GET TO MY GOAL of - 109 lbs. I will, so this summer I will look better than ever.

After this Huge reality check and logging back on sparkpeople I have gotten so inspried again. Thank you to MARJIJANE and MCMPOOH43, Reading your blogs and seeing your updated pictures Haver really inspired me. GOOD JOB Girls!!!

    I know exactly what you feel! I haven't worked out regular or watched my diet for about 4 lbs and I gained 10lbs!!!!!! IT's crazy! I fell like such a disappointment. But I on SP again so hopefullY I'll get rid of this SOon! I took before pictures....man, I've lost so much of the toning I had but hopefully this will be an encouragement to reach my goal this 2010! Happy New year Yomis! You can do it!

    Don't worry girl, I think most of us messed up this whole Holiday season. I know I did. But also, most of those 10 lbs. aren't really fat you gained back, it's mostly water retention and being bloated from all the junk food. So don't worry they'll come off really easy! You go girl!

    I know exactly how you feel. The Holidays also messed me up! I got a new WW scale for Christmas and I don't want to check how much I've gained. I know it will be a shock also. Good for you for facing the weight gain head on and getting back on track!!! A new year brings many new beginings!

    We are on the same page! Although I did not gain 10lbs, I did gain 6 since October and now I am trying to get back on track to get to my original "loss" number! I did show a loss this week, and, yes, I started tracking my food, once again...What a HUGE difference in attitude comes with "paying the piper" and honestly logging food... now I just have to get back to balanced meals! lol
    It is hard to have Sees chocolate for lunch and log those calories, but honestly, I feel better just acknowledging that I did just that!

    Pictures are a reality check, and I promised myself that I would have one taken every month along my journey...good, bad or ugly... At least we both know that SparkPeople is the answer to our prayers!

    Keep up the good work, I will keep checking in to help me stay in check!
