What is Your New Year Resolution?!

Saturday, January 02, 2010

I normally make resolutions on my birthday as that starts my New Year. I'm working on my life list, not the bucket list as it is so fondly called. I enjoy traveling and decided to take the road least traveled this year. Contemplating retirement and have the opportunity to do so in April, however my grandson and daughter birthdays are both in May and we usually take family trips so I may stay through then. Looking forward to good things, great things, sign, wonders and miracles to happen through the grace of God! emoticon

Good point about retirement not being in the Bible, as I may as well get these funds and continue to work someplace else. Out of the mouths of babes! LOL! I have a girl group, consisting of five; one retired last year, three of us are thinking this year and the other one can't see the light at the end of the tunnel! I enjoy traveling so have been looking at types of pleasure jobs, not so much work or even part time to spend time with family and friends. Look at it as a new beginning! Thanx for the comments

I don't ever plan to retire-will be 'working' at something the rest of my life, but definitely plan to change careers once I hit the 60's...teaching's a 'young person's world' these days!!!

When I reached retirement, my son reminded me that the word "retirement" is not in the Bible!! So, after I retired and moved to be near grandchildren, I actually started working again - this time in the office of my church. And, am just loving it.

The very best to you as you retire. And, I know you will find those great wonders and miracles in your tomorrows!!
