Day 2 of being back for really reals

Had a very good today--got a little bit nuts this afternoon around 3--always the hardest part of the day for me. My brain and my body were telling me I wanted/needed/wanted/needed food. But, I ignored myself and had some tea and an orange. That helped me keep my dinner reasonable because I wasn't totally ready to start eating the walls by the time I got home.

Now I want something SWEET!!! I am still in the very low end of my calorie range for the day, so I am thinking I am going to wait another half hour and then if I still want something sweet, I will have some hot chocolate with a little candy cane in it--one of my favorite winter drinks.

    you may want to try sugar free candies, very low in cals, I also put crystal light in my water, the flavours range from sweet to sour.

    It's weird - I find when my sweet tooth starts that my body is really craving protein.

    If I indulge the sweet tooth (even with sugar free things) I just end up wanting more. If I instead have some protein, the craving goes away.

    I wonder if the circuits in my brain are switched, or something? LOL

    (I eat a LOT of protein, 'cuz of the weight lifting, etc. Between 120 and 140 g per day. My body seems to run really well on it.)
