Coming back is hard to do

I made the ultimate mistake...I jumped back in with big aspirations and goals. I tried to do too much too soon. I forgot about the Fast Break small moments of success. I went out and bought The Spark. I needed it to help me begin again. So here are my goals, the long, medium and short term ones.
So first the long term goals...in the next year I will be less of a people pleaser, caring more for myself, losing 60 lbs or more and building my relationship with my husband.
For the medium-term goals... in the next three months I will increase my stamina on the treadmill/elliptical to be able to withstand a full hours worth of cardio, I will learn how to use the machines in the free weight room at the gym, I will lose 10 lbs by my birthday and I will focus my energy to find a balance in my life.
Short term goals...this week I will get in 10 minutes of exercise, stop drinking soda, read a motivational story and check in with Spark each day.
I would also like to check in with the Spark Teams I was once apart of and reconnect because the friends I had made were among my biggest support systems (besides my family).
I have to remember how I started out and that was by small steps which equaled success.

You made a good list of goals. I love that you remembered to include taking care of yourself. Sometimes its so easy to forget about ourselves in the process. I wish you all the best in your weight loss journey.
