Weight gain... =(

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

Darn it!!! I have not tracked my food, in which seems like forever. As a result, I have gained!!!! :( I am so pissed at myself. I am now 154 pounds, and it sucks. Just coming clean. I have to get back on track NOW! I have been eating anything and everything I want these past couple of months....

Time to focus and shed these lbs.

Well, I have had difficulties starting due to family visiting from Canada and Vietnam. I thot I weighted 233 when I first started. I went to the gym, for the first time since forever...I stepped on the scales @hm.Still reads 233! I weighed at the gym. I weigh 247!! Even worse than what I thot!! I want a quick fix. I'm so discouraged!! emoticon

Good for you for catching it before you went too far.
I am on losing the 100 I put back on. We really have to stay aware of what we are eating. I'm proud of you for catching it early.

Wow! You are such an inspiration. You've already succeeded in taking off the weight, a few extra pounds now is nothing compared to that achievement. Just pick yourself up, dust your sneakers off and start all over again. emoticon

I understand what you are going through. I struggle with maintenance as well. Getting back on track can be difficult when you have been out of control for a while. I personally still count calories at least 5 days per week and I let loose a little on the weekends. I still have unplanned eating parties for one...ok binges...every once in a while so when that happens I usually count calories on the weekend as well to help balance it out. I'm still playing with how to maintain and I'm still learning along the way. Kudos for getting back on track!!! We are here for you! Birdie.

I seem to need to track my food in the same way that diabetics need insulin or amputees need prosthetic limbs. If I don't the weight just comes roaring back...

    Hang in thre!

Quick! Grab that horse and jump back on before it gets away!

There is no shame in recommitting to a healthy lifestyle, so matter how many times you do it. Goodness knows I've done it enough!! I think there's a Japanese saying that goes, "Fall down seven times, stand up eight." There is only shame in quitting.

If we are on a healthy journey for life, then all you ever really have to remember is to make your NEXT choice a healthy one and you will be set!

So here you are blogging about it-- essentially taking the first step in a positive direction, taking back control, admitting your need to pay better attention to your eating habits. YAY!!!!!!

Start tracking your food again today. Don't bother spending any energy beating yourself up-- just fill yourself with praise and affirmation for getting back to it. Guilt is a waste of energy-- no calories burned!

Welcome back into the fold. You know what to do!
