Overcome Ego’s Hold

Wow, this is so true and one I need to keep in mind. I'm a victim of "needing" to be right in discussions with my hubby. I'm learning that it's not such a big deal to be "RIGHT" all the time even if I am. It's much better to be at peace. The being "right" will balance out eventually. I don't need to make it happen.

    I completely agree with that statement. I am bullheaded at times with my husband and it isn't worth getting into an argument for. I agree with NUTRITIONGURU, it does feel good when they realize that you were right and they were wrong! lol

    Even better, when you are right and you will agree with someone you love and respect, for the sake of arguing. And then later they realize that they were wrong...it feels pretty good. Not because you get to say "I told you so", but because the other person feels like you didn't want make a big deal about being right.
