Not ready to get on the floor yet

When I ordered The Spark, I also received the resistance band, stability ball and SP fitness starter DVD. This was back in Oct 09. I opened the box and took everything out, looked at it and put everything back in the box and there it stayed until today.

My husband hooked the fitness starter DVD up for me. I only did a few min and just watched the other few min after it got to the part to get on the mat. I haven't been on the floor in years. Since my husband was off work, I guess I could have gotten down on the floor and had him help me up afterwards but I just wasn't feeling it.

I then got a chair and did a 20 min resistance band video all while sitting in the chair. WooHoo!However, when it came time to crossing my leg to stretch my ankle, I couldn't do that but maybe in due time I'll get there.

I can't wait to hit the pool tomorrow.

    I understand your resistance to getting on the floor! I do it, but still have trouble, especially during my DVD workouts. One of the reasons I set weight loss goals is to be able to get on the floor with my second grade students. It's hard, but we can do it!

    The first step is always the hardest - at least it was for me! Keep putting one foot in front of the other, girlfriend, and you'll eventually get there!

    BEEN THERE HAVE THE SAME THINGS AND GETTING TO THE FLOOR IS A CHALLENGE. I DO WHAT I CAN BUT I AM ALONE AND 1 BUM LEG SO GETTING UP IS A LITTLE STRANGE. I FEEL AT BOWLING ONE NIGHT AND NO ONE HELPED ME AND I HAD TO CRAWL TO THE THING THAT HOLDS THE BALLS AND PUT MYSELF UP. I AM NOT BIG, TALL AND 66 SO YOU CAN SEE THE PICTURE. I HAVE A POOL AND I AM GOING TO START A LOT OF POOL EXERCISES. WE PUT THE STEPS IN TODAY SO NO HOLDING ME BACK. SO DO WHAT YOU CAN AND WITH HELP YOU WILL SUCCEED. MAY GOD WATCH OVER YOU ALWAYS. LAUGH AND HAVE FUN.
