Last weekend we visited my husband's family in Idaho Falls. It was good to see them again. Joe's sister had fallen and severely broke her ankle a couple of weeks before so we visited with her.
We had fun trying out the new trailer and found it to be a lot easier to haul than the old one. This one is a fifth wheel and is about 4 feet shorter than the old one. It is way easier to hitch and unhitch, too.
Here are some "Road Photos"
Most were taken about six hours into the return trip. I was bored and the scenery was great. They were all taken travelling about 70 miles per hour so there may be a little blur...
This is Zelda and Annie Oakley. These girls are not riders but we reluctantly started giving them Benedryl before leaving. It really helps them cope with the ride. Zelda pants endlessly and Annie drools so much it soaks the blanket we put on the pickup seat. But with the Benedryl, not much panting and no drooling.
This is Lucy sitting in her usual spot on trips: my lap. Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of a dog sitting on your lap? Sorry, Maggie, there were no photos of you. She was sitting behind me so I couldn't take any of her.
One photo taken in Idaho just north of Idaho Falls: Budweiser grain silos.
Then my favorite canyon. This is in the Wolf Creek Canyon (located north of Helena and west of Great Falls) which is also where the background photo for my SparkPage was taken. This is the Missouri River.
Thanks for wanting to see photos of my trips. There will be a few more this summer. We are planning a trip to the National Folk Festival in Butte in July, several trips to our river property, and, of course, the wedding on August 15.
